A Poem of Spring

Spring is oh so beautiful,
I know you will agree,
The blossoms opening everywhere,
A welcome sight to see.

Especially those that promise fruit,
so tasty and so sweet,
My mouth is watering even now,
As I think of what I'll eat.

And what of mint?
The smell of it, can surely clear the mind,
It only takes a little bit,
No scent on earth's so fine.

The tulips in their cozy shell,
They open and they close,
In sun, "Hello", at dusk, "Goodbye",
As if to take a doze.

The noisy cardinal visiting here,
Eating in the breeze,
Is not at all affected by,
The stuff that makes me sneeze.
