There are some recipes included in the curriculum and you can also find your own.
For our study of India's history, I made Samosas (stuffed pastries), Channa Dal (Curried Chickpeas), Aloo Mattar (Potatoes and Peas), Kheema (spiced meat), Chapati (unleavened bread), and Masala Chai (spiced tea).
Samosas, Channa Dal, and Aloo Mattar and Kheema combined
Hannah did a great job rolling and making the pastries.
We chose to bake them instead of fry
Everything was eaten up, except the Channa Dal. All of the recipes came from Cooking the Indian Way by Vijay Madavan. We borrowed it from the library.
