Adventures in My Father's World - Part 1

Day 1 -

Let them eat cake! Since we would be studying American History, why not start out the year with a red, white, and blue treat. This was suggested in our curriculum.

Start with pound cake, smother with whipped cream, and let the kids decorate and eat
their handiwork.

I think Josiah enjoyed his! And Hannah was well pleased with hers also.

Hannah began learning the Pledge of Allegiance, too. We were off to a good start.
